Overhead Squat
The objective of this
assessment is to observe for total body neuromuscular efficiency,
integrated functional strength, functional flexibility.
Procedure:
-
Subject should lift a barbell with no weights over
their head.

A fitness professional experienced with this
test should record in the Lexabean software the following
information. These are all Yes/No check boxes - so entering this
data should be quick and easy. Where appropriate - the left and
right side are entered separately.

For both the left and right feet: Foot Flattens; Foot turns outward;
Heel of foot rises, Knee Buckle Inward, Knees Buckle outward.

Lumbo-Pelvic-Hip Complex: Asymmetrical
Weight Shift; Low back arches; Low Back Rounds; Abdomen
Protrudes;

Upper body: Arms Fall Forward; Elbows flex;
Shoulder Abduction; Shoulder Protraction; Shoulder Elevation;
Scapulae Winging; Forward head.

Gait: Treadmill Walking
The objective of this assessment is to gather general information
regarding a subjects dynamic posture. This should be used for a general
warm up of approximately five minutes.
Procedure:

Subject should be walking at a comfortable pace on a
treadmill.

A fitness professional experienced with this
test should record in the Lexabean software the following
information. These are all Yes/No check boxes - so entering this
data should be quick and easy. Where appropriate - the left and
right side are entered separately.

Legs: Foot flattens, foot turns outward, knees
buckle inward, knees buckle outward.

Upper Body: Asymmetrical weight
shift, low back arches, abdominal protrudes, shoulder
protraction, should elevation, forward head.
